6.1 Active Accounts: For active paying accounts, we retain your information for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.

6.2 Non-Payment and Free Period Expiration: If you fail to provide payment after the 30-day free usage period, your account will be suspended. During suspension, you will not have access to your data or any features. We may retain your data for up to 60 days following suspension to allow you the opportunity to reactivate your account by providing payment.

6.3 Data Deletion After Suspension: After 60 days of account suspension due to non-payment, we reserve the right to permanently and irreversibly delete all your data, including but not limited to: client information, vehicle records, appointments, invoices, inventory data, photos, documents, and all other content. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered. You are solely responsible for exporting and backing up your data before the end of the free period or before any suspension occurs.

6.4 Voluntary Account Termination: When you voluntarily terminate your account, we may retain certain information for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes for up to 7 years as required by law. All other data may be deleted within 60 days of termination.

6.5 Legal Retention: We may retain information as required by applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests, regardless of account status.

6.6 Anonymized Data: We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for analytics, service improvement, and research purposes. Such data cannot be used to identify you personally.

6.7 No Obligation to Retain Data: You acknowledge and agree that we have no obligation to retain, store, or provide access to your data after account suspension or termination, except as explicitly stated in this policy or as required by law. It is your responsibility to regularly backup and export your data.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Updates: Active paying users can access and update their account information at any time through their account settings. Access is not available to suspended or terminated accounts.

7.2 Data Portability and Export: You can export your data using our data export features at any time while your account is active. We strongly recommend exporting your data regularly and before the end of your free period if you do not plan to subscribe. Once your account is suspended, you will not be able to access or export your data until payment is provided and the account is reactivated.

7.3 Account Deletion: You may request account deletion by contacting us or through your account settings. Please note that some information may be retained for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes as described in Section 6. We recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion.

7.4 Marketing Communications: You can opt-out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by updating your communication preferences in your account settings.

7.5 Cookie Settings: You can manage cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the service.

7.6 Backup Responsibility: While we implement regular backups for operational purposes, you are solely responsible for creating and maintaining your own backups of your data. We are not responsible for data loss due to account suspension, termination, technical issues, or any other cause.
